You're right about this, as you were about the other points. Here was my trouble: This reference came from the third photo-shoot, and they were unwilling to go for a fourth. I can't blame them, so I used reference I had in hand to brace up the sagging portion of the smile. You could call it an attempt at artistic engineering.

Let this be a lesson to me, and all other over-confident beginners - don't do what the masters refuse to attempt.

Please feel free to have a good hoot at my expense.
