Thank you so much for your kind thoughts.

Per Marvin's suggestion I have toned down the line work in the background and carried it to the edge. I agreed with him it was fighting the figure with the hard lines. Thanks again Marvin.

Linda this one is gone, much to the moms delight, (this may sound bad but I do love it when they tear up at first glance). So I didn't get a chance to shoot it in your special lighting... but would you pick the bath, or the necessary seat? :)

Her personality come right through, shy and lovely.

Beautiful handling of subtle skintone variations, difficult enough in paint, maddeningly impossible in pastel.

I am always surprised when I go to Museums, just how simple and small some of my favorite paintings are.
