Hi Sharon,
I like very much your dancers, especially your " Alicia rose" , your colors are dazzling. You seem to like very big compositions. I thought that figurative arts were better considered in America than in France, I could't imagine it's how you describe... In my art school, it was considered like a disability to know how to draw well, and even more if you were a girl. I think that most of my teachers wouln't consider what I'm doing now is art. I discovered that Quebec is not a high place for art ( exept maybe theatre and dance) but artists women are far better considered than in France. |
Hi Marina! Lovely work, hope to see more soon. Welcome. :)

Marina, thank you for that link! I can see the resemblence in the light and point of view. Guerande sounds beautiful, and the colors must be inspiring to artists. I'd love to paint there some day. You never know!

Welcome Marina,
I am enjoying your two portraits. The compositions, and colors are wonderful, and their rendering is so thoughtful and intellegent too. I look forward to your participation! Garth PS: To follow up on what Louise Dailey just said in her thread about you, I also am just positively blown away by your paintings on your web blog! I can't wat to see more. |
