Beautiful, and thank you for posting the close ups. I love seeing your work and can't
wait to see the final result.

Off the subject, but a quick question I just have to ask...... why do you post in the Unveilings for everyone section?

Thanks Janet!
I reworked the hair strands and some minor changes. I am calling it done (modeling) unless the client sees anything else to change.

Oh, I post here because I am just a part-time artist.

Here she is at long last. Dried, fired, patina'd, and mounted - ready to deliver.

Claudemir Bonfim 07-26-2006 07:27 AM

That's so adorable.

Beautiful finish Heidi! --That's a lovely patina.

David Draime 07-26-2006 02:33 PM

Stunning!

Once again your work manifests your profound and solid knowledge of the human form. This, coupled with an elegance that can only be innate, is your recipe for the success of your work. Congratulations on another beautiful piece!

Heidi,
Thank you for showing the fantastic process. I had no idea about the enormous amount of work it takes before you can see the result.
This is very successful in all respects and I am sure that your client will be very happy.
Allan

Thanks so much Claudemir, Terri, David, Carlos, and Allan!
I hope the client likes it as much. I'm always afraid people are going to immediately point out all the flaws as soon as they see it (am I paranoid?)
I was going to deliver it last weekend, but the base took a little longer to make and dry than anticipated, so now I have to wait a couple of weeks until she gets back into town.

Heidi--

This is beautiful! The finish really brings out the forms. Just stunning.

I have immense admiration for all you 3-D guys...it's like doing 360 paintings for each piece, and they all have to fit together. You're fearless, and it shows.

Best--TE
