I have one more grandaughter who is asking now for me to paint her.

I mentioned the dance recital last weekend, my youngest granddaughter participated as well. At intermission the girls were brought on stage and asked to tell their name, age and what they wanted to be when they grow up. Keeley (my youngest) gave her name, age and proclaimed she wanted to be a painter when she grows up. I was very moved.

Keeley has such a great face and so expressive when she is acting normal. Its not easy getting that look when you break out the camera. The reference material will be the challenge.

I appreciate the compliments and the encouraging words. They are like manna that falls from the heavens above.

I want to join the others and say great job on a very charming portrait. I love that it is natural-- her hair isn't quite perfect or her posture, but all the more charming because of those things! Love the flower too. :)
