Yes, I try to make the brushmarks look painted, there's plenty of room for variations using different brushes and knife plus thinned and pastose paint, enough to emulate various textures.

That's just superb, full of light and atmosphere. What beautiful use of colour, I would love to paint like that!

Another absolutely beautiful one, Allan! I can just feel the sun on her face and the air around her. I love the strokes that describe the scene in the background. She's really in the landscape.
