Yeah...What They Said...
Marvin, you are truly a Living Master! I'm saving my pennies, in the hopes of taking one of your workshops someday.
|
Thank you Valerie,
I don't know about the master part, but I'm sure happy about the living aspect. I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love so much on a daily basis. I get great satisfaction from both painting and teaching. I look forward to meeting you one day. |
Marvin, since I have been absent, I have not officially commented on this lovely piece of art work, although you know I cried the first time I saw it.
All I could think to myself is; On the eighth day, he must have rested! :) |
Thanks Beth, but on the eighth day I was still working on the underpainting.
. |
I've committed to becoming more of a participate here so I wanted to express the emotional power that comes across from this awe inspiring painting but there are no adjectives left that haven't been used. Suffice just to cry!!
|
Thank you Patti. I appreciate you sharing that.
|
Marvin,
There aren't any more adjectives left, so I'll ask a question instead. If you perhaps took photos of this painting in it's earlier stages, would you be willing to post them? Simply magnificent! (Oops, the adjectives just bubble up when one looks at this painting.) |
