Ardith Starostka wins ARC Award-"Wrapped in Roses"
 

Ardith Starostka has won a top award at the ARC's (Art Renewal Center) International Salon for her beautiful painting, "Wrapped in Roses".

The painting was purchased by Fred Ross for his collection.

I knew this piece was something special when it was unveiled here in the forum. I love it when juried art shows get it right! It doesn't happen often enough, but this piece obviously could not be overlooked, thankfully!

Thank you everybody for all of your kind words. It actually won 3rd in the portraits and figures category and a purchase award. I feel very fortunate. My daughter, who posed for this piece, is sad---she wanted to keep it. Guess that I'll just have to paint her again.
