Arthur Ashe painting

I've received an email from an institute that is seeking painitngs of Arthur Ashe to purchase. They are not interested in hiring a commission. Let me know if you've done such a painting.

Any idea what they are willing to pay? Where the work will hang? Why they want this?

I asked them about what their budget was and they didn't have anything specific defined. I asked about commissioning something and apparently someone had done a commission.

They want to buy something that already exists. Of course, that doesn't preclude an artist doing a painting in the hopes it will be purchased. But, there are no guarantees.
