Choice of 2 poses

2 Attachment(s)
I had a successful photo shoot this weekend and my client has narrowed down his choice to two. Actually, he's picked ONE, and I've already done a color study that's in another thread , but I also very much like another pose. The girls had a blast with the flowers, and they were very happy. I think it shows.

Which pose would you pick? Which has a better composition? Which would make for better art?

Thanks so much for your input.

Hi Cindy,

I prefer the first pose much more than the 2nd for two reasons: 1) the directional lighting brings out their features much more 2) The composition. I feel that the first photo has sort of captured them in the "moment". It seems that you have approached them reading a book together and you have captured their initial reaction. It tells a story about siblings and feels very natural to me. The 2nd is more of a "Come on kids, let's gather for a camera shot" and seems more "rehearsed."

Good Luck! This one should be fun for you!

Number one

Better composition, lighting on number one. Better over all. I hope this is the one your client chose.
