"How Did You Paint That?"

Hi Everyone,

I'm excited to share with this group that my painting, "Mr Wilson Study" has been published in the International Artist book, "How Did You Paint That? Painting Figures and People".

I shared this painting on the forum some time ago. The book is already out, and includes 100 artists that paint the portrait, and the figure.

All the Best, Magdalena

Congratulations! Could you post the image again, in this thread?

Thank you Kim, Michele. And Congratulations to you Kim as well! You have a very strong piece in the flowers volume.

Yes, and I will post the image. Now that I can take a better photo with the digital camera, and I've learned how to post images on the forum. So, I'm off to the studio now, image will be up this evening. Michele, you're just north of me, I live in Portland, Oregon.

Fondly, Magdalena

Hi Michele,

Here's the image of my "Mr Wilson Study".
It's 20"x16" oil on canvas. What I enjoyed most was the chance to share my process in painting this piece. As I mentioned yesterday, International Artist published 100 portrait, and figurative artists.

This is a first for me, and am very excited about it.

All the Best, Magdalena

Congratulations, Magdalena! I'm very happy for you. It must be so exciting to be included in such a prestigious publication.

Hi Linda,

It certainly is exciting :exclamati I feel honored to be a part of this volume. And, as I had mentioned in a previous reply, enjoyed writing about the process of painting this piece.

Now, for me, it's back to work at painting one day at a time. Thank you Linda.

All the best, Magdalena
