I am looking for a frame similar to this and I haven't had much luck. Does anyone know of a source to find frames that are like these?
Thanks

Hi Ardie,

Where did you get the image of that one? I think I'd start by emailing the image to a few of the high-end frame places in New York and ask them what style the frame is. Then you can do a search on the web on that frame style - hopefully it will have a name. Check out my Framers page in the Biz & Resource section of my site. http://portraitartist.com/resources/framers.htm

Thanks Cynthia

I totally forgot about checking the sources for frames on the SOG website. I checked into those framers and found several that I like. I also went ahead and emailed the artist about the frame that I saw on his paintings. So, now I will be able to find something that I will definitely like.

Thanks, again.

I don't know which ones you looked at on my page and what your client is prepared to pay, but those New York framers are very pricey!

Ardith,

I have been so thrilled with the frames I have made at Abend - you might ask them what they can do in that style. The frames are beautifully make, extremely reasonable in price, and delivered in a timely manner.
