oil on ABS I have not done anything this traditional in awhile. Nice change of pace. Great family to work with - I only wish they had more children. :) |
Kim,
After they see this painting, I bet they wish they had more children that you could paint. it may be traditional, but you really captured the essence of life in this young man. Beautiful! |

I LOVE his ears. This is a beautiful painting, Kim.
And, Alex - I really admire your ability to critique so well. Remember, I officially agree with everything you say - so why don't you just put that in your signature line, okay? |

Kim, this is a terrific portrait -he's dressed up but not in the least bit stuffy, with such a lively attitude - I love it! Great technique, great pose. I really would like to see a closeup of that hand.

Thank you everyone - I really appreciate it. :)
Cindy - Im with you, I love everything Alex says- she is full of insight and inspiring words! Nice to see your face, by the way. Linda, I will try and get a close up of that hand before I deliver it tonight. I was concerned with the pose of that hand from the beginning - Im glad you like it Garth! (whew) |
Kim - I'm sooo jealous. Lovely work! I like the way you handled the composition as well as the wonderful rendering of a very likeable looking young man.
