A really simple palette

Here's a dynamite palette, considering it consists of burnt umber, yellow ocher, alizarin crimson and black and white.

Some prefer "neutral grays" instead of b&w, which can be made from ivory black, raw umber and white.

The range of this simple palette is quite incredible.

The colors are laid out in strings of about nine values each.

Use YO to lighten the BU until it's the value of YO, then lighten YO with white.

Lighten AC with white in steps.

Make a string of matching nine values of gray, or neutral gray, and paint away.

You should be able to hit about 97% of our flesh tone needs with this palette.

I liked it, specially because I use a similar one.
