Colorado Academy of Art

Halleleuija! Colorado has a really nice Art Academy that teaches classical Fine Art. I don't know if anyone would remember, but a few years back I was on this forum kvetching about 1) the state of art non-education I found at my local university and 2) the fact that I had to attend said university anyway to finish my degree. Those were painful, dark and dreary days, awash in a wasteland of conceptual art with nary an speck of technical guidance to be found, in spite of the astronomical tuition fees. But I survived. Somehow.

I just wanted to pass along this information to anyone who is in the Front Range region of CO who might be interested in either their full-on Classical Program or their community art workshops. They even have some famous, very accomplished artists and give special weeklong workshops. I'm just saying that in case any of the more established artists on this fine forum might be interested in coming to teach there *cough*billwhitaker*cough, cough*chrissaper*cough*. Colorado's not that far away from Utah or Arizona. I'm just saying.

:)
