Pastel of (fraternal) twin toddlers
 

This is my first commission in color. I'm pretty happy with the results, but especially thrilled to move into the brave new world of pastel and full color. The experienced eye can probably tell this was done from two different photographs, but hopefully not that obvious to everyone else in the world. I have another class in pastel in the new year and hope to learn even more.

I think you are doing magnificently well making the transition into color. The color looks very natural, almost as if you are in the room with them. What different looking boys they are! And they seem to have different personalities, too. You've captured that very well. In all I think you've accomplished a lot, and I can imagine the parents being extremely pleased.

Nice job...I don't get that it's stitched together at all. If this is an early attempt at color work, you'll be just fine!

April, I'm not sure how experienced my eye is, but I couldn't tell this was done from two photographs at all.
