This is a wonderful, sensitive, insightful portrait, masterfully "painted" or "drawn"--never sure with pastels. I feel, looking at your work, that you see into her soul, and that you are interested in how the inner person manifests itself on the outside.

Thank you, Alexandra for your detailed comments. I try to paint (or draw) empathetically and it's great you sensed my efforts!

I was fortunate with this lovely model, she was a delight to paint.

Happy to say I've just won Professional artist of the Year with the SAA with it. It'll be exhibited in London in the summer.
