Help with pixels

Hi,

Anyone who knows those little pixels: I've been trying to get my portraits to the right pixel 400 x 600 right? Well, my PC or my scanner cuts my portrait down to size all right - by cutting the extra off. I've tried minimizing the size on my copy machine but my image is still too large. Help!

Thanks,
Tammy

Tammy,

My PC works in Windows XP. After I scan the photo, I bring the photo into the Photo Editor. If you click the "edit" topic there is a feature called "image size". Changing these perameters will let you reduce the overall image size without cropping. Hope this helps.

Tammy,

Just to be clear, the image cannot be greater than 400 pixels wide or higher than 600 pixels. Of coure, you want to maintain the proper proportions of your image.
