Portrait Society of Canada
Does anyone here, or someone you know, belong to the Portrait Society of Canada? I would like to hear some of your experiences, good or bad, that arose from becoming a member with an artist's group. If you are aware of any notable societies that cater to serious artists and that are found within the Toronto or Mississauga area, please let me know. I would really like to meet 'face to face' with other artists that are on the same 'wave length' as myself, to discuss various issues and to get some hands on advice. This website is great, but, just like painting, there is no substitute for live interaction. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of decent workshops or little advertising for these interactions within my area.
