Ingres Meets Modigliani
You have wisely chosen what many consider to be the greatest portrait ever painted. I have studied this masterpiece in print and at the Louvre without tiring. In fact, the museum guards where it hangs had to advise me they were closing on several occasions.
Was your goal to stylize the face or to copy?
As a copy, the eyes are close and the nose is sharp. As a modern "Modigliani-ization" based on the orginal, I think this is super!
