Greetings from Palm Springs! Just got connected to the internet after three weeks away, so I have not been in touch with anyone here. The mail here is really a joke. It takes two weeks to get anything here. So my email software never showed up. Fortunately, I was able to log on under my old AOL account, which I have not used for a long time since I went Broadband.
My book signing was fun, and I made alot of contacts. The mall, however, turned out to be an outdoor mall - very posh and nice, just impossible to draw at. No power as was promised, and blazing sun. Borders gracously let me work right in their very large store for ten days. They had not ordered in my books for some wierd reason, but I did a good deal of drawing and handed out little cards with book ordering information on it.
I have moved my koiske to a very large mall on the other end of town where I am doing a great business. But, this is turning out to be mostly a working trip.
We hope to come here again and become snowbirds to this town for the months of January to March and lease a spot at the mall.
