Korinne
I hope I can call this done. I worked over the shirt twice since the last post in the pastel critique section. Tried giving it a bit more life with the wrinkles and shifted it towards the blue side. I like it, for now. Just hoping the next one does'nt drive me as nuts, altho I'm sure it will because the colors will be limited.
The final size here is 15x18" on Belgium Gray Wallis paper. Thanks to all who commented, encouraged and especially critiqued the progress. It helped a lot! Thanks.

Wow Jimmie, I can't believe you have only started with pastels. You certainly know what you are doing. I love her hair.

Nicely done, Jimmie -
The colors are SO nice. And I like how you have toned down the shirt - the form bothered me at first, but couldn't say why. Now you have used it to give physical dimensionality to the model's body. The clues are there, subtle, but thorough.

Jimmie, this turned out great. How you re-worked her shirt turned out beautifully and the blue light in her hair is really cool.

She's lovely Jimmie. And just a short while ago, you were afraid of color. Soon you'll be winning awards for your works in "full color".
