William Mc Gregor Paxton
With gratitude!
I did not know about this master until one late afternoon in Las Vegas, when I sat in a classroom setting wondering what to expect....
Currently all I have are these images, since my studies are concentrated on the Orientalists at the moment. Being that this is not the most favorable subject at the time, I thought I'll add this homage.
Please feel free to add Paxton's Biography and any other images that are missing from the collection of his work.
If you have any information on the paintings themselves please Email the to me so that I can put them under the correct post.
Thanks!
Girl with Pink Rose

Thanks for posting all of these, Enzie. Where are you finding them?

You are welcome Julie! I collect images of paintings like a stamp collector. They come from books, catalogs, on-line sources you name it. I safe everything to my hard drive, which is on a new Dell, that's already staring to crawl under the weight of all these high res images.
Please share any info you might have about any of these paintings and I will enter it in the appropriate section.

Enzie, thanks for posting these. Though I had heard a lot about Paxton's use of color, I must admit I had never seen any of these images before. What a treat!
