Bob,

I would shoot a lot more pictures. The model is exotic and lovely. Yes she has great potential. However, she seems a little stiff in these photos. After 400 or 500 pictures she will loosen up and start to have some fun. Her costume is delightful. Take some full body shots. Have her move, dance or constantly change poses. Catch her doing something wonderful. She won't even know that she is doing it. One picture out of a thousand might get it. If you can step back from the model even further if you can. It will minimize distortion.

I also recommend using the white balance on your d70 to get better color adjustment. It is easy to do. Check your Nikon manual or look at the threads on the forum dealing with white balance.
