Hi Janet,

I just saw this and realized you've had it posted for a while! Sorry for the delayed response. I just want to tell you how impressed I am with the great strides you have made with value changes, brushwork, color--every aspect of painting--since I first saw your work, and it wasn't too long ago since I joined the forum in the spring. I really admire your persistence and hard work, and I'm really seeing a big change in a short time. In a certain way it seems that you have used this lovely girl as a catalyst for change, or maybe your inspiration for working through problems. So I guess I'm saying that this portrait embodies all the above.
