What a great idea this is! I looked into your site and it looks like a site that can be quite informative and helpful in this subject matter. I have a large book on Spanish painters of the late 19th century, a generation of painters who studied in Rome and formed a community of artists there (most famous of whom was Mariano fortuny) and they did quite a few orientalist paintings aside from the official hisorical paintings they were obliged to fulfill.
