Thank you all for having a good look at Iain and your insights.

I'm going to consider him over the next few days and see what jumps out for me;
I find I have to frame these pastels quite quickly for their own protection(especially with 3 children on the go!)

I'm actually quite enjoying trying some portraits with one eye very dark and one brightly lit for drama, as with 'Iris'
Thank you for the suggestion about Klimt, I really love his work anyway (It's definitely worth seeing 'in the flesh', his skin tones glow like mother of pearl)
