Patty, since I just responded on your camera post, I must add that if you decide to buy a lens in addition to the kit lens, you would LOVE an f/1.4. It is so fast that can often get clear shots of my darting 2 year old--even in low, indoor light without a flash. I don't love the fixed 50mm, but it's WAY cheaper than a 1.4 or 1.8 zoom.

In other words, you definitely would have been able to get clear shots of these adorable kids.

Well done. I love your style in your b&w portraits.
