Bob,

I have looked at this repeatedly. I hate to disagree with both Linda and Michele as they post thoughtful, relevant and useful comments. Leave it as it is. The shadows are well designed and not too dark. The skin-tone does nor bother me and it rather reminds me of the candlelit luminescence of some of Georges de la Tours' work.

There is a teeny -tiny shadow close to the stem of the rose and above the hand that could be strengthened a bit to emphasize the separation of the bosom area from the sleeve.

My first impression of it was that it had a beautiful, peaceful and luminescent quality and color.

I will take my spoon out of the soup .
