I am amazed at what you did with that marginal photo!

I just don't get the first prize winner. What is up with that!

Hey, thanks,

Yes the resource photos were awful, and I can see why an abstract interpretation would have been a sensible choice. Only a portrait nut would try to actually rescue the photo into a reasonable painting.

In any case, I have ordered three large canvases, all in different surfaces, so I'll get to try them out and let you know what they're like.

Congrats Chris! I looked at the resource photos and decided I wasn't up to that much of a challenge. You did it beautifully.
