Linda...WOW
I really appreciated this latest series of yours. My... you have been busy. I was expecting this to be in a higher color key similar to your other recent postings. You surprised me by dropping the key to mid values. It is interesting to observe the various styles of artists. So many of us like to work in lower color keys, that it is like a breath of fresh air to have higher key works pop up. Congratulations.

Linda,
Do you sleep? Your productivity is humbling.
Successful but atypical "family at table" composition! You're taking chances by stepping back a few feet... and it's working! This is as much of an environmental portrait as it is a family portrait.
Reassessing the "standard design" of portraiture is a must, and you're proving how bold compositions can refresh one's work. Great stuff!

Thanks you guys for the comments. I have to apologize a thousand times over for not saying so earlier - my back has been hurting so badly lately, I have reduced my computer time to the absolute minimum, reserving as much "up time" as I can muster for working. Today's chiropractic session is paying off, so I'm taking advantage of it. It's a treat to spend some time with you guys.
:-)
