Thank you all for your nice comments.
I suspect many of you could provide me with a very useful critique. I wanted to post it in the critique forum but I felt that was unfair since I probably won't make changes to this one. I didn't want anyone to go to the trouble of critiqueing only to see their great advice not followed. I just don't have the time to do more work on this. I have a load of pastels calling my name. So, I invite any of you to PM me if you see errors I can really learn from. I will listen and hopefully apply what I learn to the next one.
Again, thank you for your encouragement.

But you are right, that's finished.
A very nice job, please, keep on posting your works.

Learning something new every day here
Chris, thank you! You just have no idea how much your kind words mean to me. I am embarrassed I didn't know that I could post in "critiques" even if I can't make changes. I will use the critique section next time and if I can't make changes I won't feel guilty. It really is a forum for learning and I appreciate the flexibility.
Claudemir, you are generous. I do hope to stick around and improve.

I saw this earlier and didn't have time to reply, but thought about it during my busy day. I carried the image with me, seeing that EYEBROW. I love it!
After working on Jux's tattoo all day yesterday (and knowing that I'm not even close to the finish), I can empathize with you totally on the complex jacket. It was worth it though, it brings us closer to knowing her personality.

Jean, thank you so much. She has a bit of an attitude for sure. I thought about that tatoo in your painting (I'm watching your progress with anticipation). That is something to contend with. Tatoos define peronality so much that getting them right is more important than it might seem. You are doing a wonderful job on that painting by the way. Good luck on that tatoo. I think it is coming along superbly. Thanks again for commenting.

Lisa, this is really beautiful. I went back and took a look at how you handled those strands of hair and marvelled at how you were able to do this with a brush. I like your use of color, as well. Nice job.

Linda, thank you so much! Oddly, I painted a lot less of the hair strands in this one. I guess having it read like strands is just luck. I am still working out how to work with Linseed. As for color, its beena problem for me over the years in oil. I usually get this nasty orange cast to my paintings which I think I avoided this time and I am happy about that. I'm grateful you stopped by to look at my little painting. Thanks again.
