Michele.....I was actually thinking about running down there to try to capture the eminent erupton....especially at nightfall!
I've always wanted to do a painting of an erupting volcano ever since staying in Hawaii for awhile.
Of course it would be my luck for it to be three times bigger than the one in '80.
Just kidding.....my wife would go nuts if I tried that. She had her fill of me years ago when we lived on the coastline of California and I'd go right down to the shoreline and watch 30 ft. winter breakers crash on the rocks. I would nearly get washed in at times.
