Hand in pencil
This was a Bill Whitaker assignment. I'm grateful for his help and encouragement. One of Bill's other students came up and took a closer look while I was still drawing this. I proceeded to tell her that this was one of the most beautiful hands I'd ever seen. She replied "That is my hand." Bill had used her as a hand model, and I had no idea. 
(for some reason my scan didn't turn out so great, I'll try re-posting a new cleaned up version later)
