Wow, Debra, I really like this one. It has that spontaneous feeling, and I agree that the warm and cool skintones are very successful. His expression is so appealing, especially around the mouth, but the eyes add to it.

Debra,

I think this is great. I love the beautiful sunset colors you used. It is amazing how much of a color range you utilized. I am also struck by the way your strokes bring out the planes of the face so well. Very nice!

I just spotted this, Debra! I love it, I also really like the fluid, calligraphic brush style that I see in a lot of your recent work.

Very nice, Debra. My only question is whether his mouth is as dramatically asymmetrical as it's been painted here. Otherwise, very bold and fresh!
