Mark - thank you, and nice to meet you!
Janet, thank you.
Alex, I love it when you respond...I think you should send me an inspirational email every day for my ego.

Terri - great idea actually since I cant get a decent shot of this...if I back up with one of the kids standing there, I bet I can get a better one. Thank you!

Garth, are you calling her or me a fat head? Thank you - and Happy Birthday old man!

This is so powerful, Kim, and I love what Terri has said about it: she looks defiant and vulnerable at the same time. It looks like you really had room to work on the skin surface and mold those forms with beautiful color. Congratulations - it's a prize winner, enter it everyplace you can think of!

Thanks Tom & Linda!

Here is a snap with my 14-year-old that gives an indication of size. Despite my best efforts - this may be the best photo of the painting as well.

Ooooo........I like it.

Question for you, did you find it easier, or more difficult, to paint her face this size?

I've never tried anything this large, but I do have a few paintings that the face is larger
than life and I found it easier than smaller than life. I'm just curious if I am an odd ball.

(Be nice)

Thank you Janel.

I guess I found it easier in some ways. Perhaps more difficult only to get the changes in skin colors to be as subtle as I wanted at this size. I liked working this large.

Im posting an updated image. As usual, I am never quite done...
