Thank you Ilaria for your vote of confidence and your kind comments. I have to say though that I did work on it quite a bit today so I guess we are all a little too late. Hope I didn't ruin it. Here is what it looks like now.

Beautiful, Dianne! I like the way you placed the head, knowing how the rest would follow. Very nice composition. Finished or unfinished, It has an energetic yet sensitive style that is characteristic of all your work.

Dianne,
This is a lovely piece. I liked it at earlier stages too, but you've retained the freshness, and it has great complexity of character even with the loose application. A great demonstration of carrying a painting further without wrecking it.
