Dianne,

Very nice! My eye is especially drawn to the brushstrokes and color in the shirt collar and the side of the hair. I also really admire the way you have indicated the structure of the ear. When you get your camera battery recharged I would love to see a better photo, plus detail of the ear!

I really like the way you've kept this light and lively.. I love your use of colours without overworking.
Ears are always my least favourite part of a portrait, give me a nose any time!
