Congratulations Julie. You did a great job with this one. I can see you getting many more commissions from this - if people get a chance to see this painting.

Thanks, David and Alan-

The portrait is hanging in the university library, and will be there for a large Christmas party that includes many supporters, so one can only hope. I have permission to put out my business cards at that time.

Alan, I now have two university commissions completed, both in blue, one male, one female. They should look nice facing each other in a portfolio!

Julie, you rock! Your development continues to astound me. A pro job that any portrait artist would be proud to include in their portfolio.

Thanks so much, Marvin! Your encouragement and the encouragement of the other artists on this forum means so much. As you may have noticed, the color palette for the skin tones of this painting is based on your system.

What a great job Julie. Wow haven't you progressed over the last year.

You should be very proud of this achievement. Well Done!

wink

Julie, after looking at this painting and also those on your website, I am blown away with the edge treatments that you use in your paintings. Your technique gives a 'real' look to the person that you are painting. Nice depth in your paintings as well. Congratulations.
