Vine charcoal ? On what paper ? Maybe that's trying to dissect this very nice drawing, and spoil the mystery of it . . . but inquiring minds always go to the "nuts 'n' bolts".
Very sculptural !

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your questions and kind comments. I used a charcoal pencil and some vine charcoal as well as some white pastel. I used a heavy watercolour paper to draw on because it feels like drawing on card and has a good texture and takes a lot of rubbing, erasing etc.

Beautiful Thomasin, I really like returning to my roots and just starting over, discovering my strengths and deficiencies. It is a wonderful and relaxing process for me. It appears that you are enjoying too!
