Thanks Julie, I'm very excited to do the lecture. Then again, when am I not excited to teach? ;-) I've traded in my slides in for a keynote (powerpoint for macs) presentation. It gives me a lot more flexibility, particularly when making certain comparisons.
I'm glad you like the demo. It was created under the most adverse conditions. There was no air conditioning in the studio and one day it hit 97 degrees outside. Lots and lots of fans going. The lighting was really bad, so we relied mostly on window light. The problem with that was that the windows were directly behind our easels, so the glare was impossible to deal with. I soldiered through and was pretty happy, all things considered.
I look forward to seeing you again on Sunday.

Nextt year in Cleveland
Marvin was phenominal as usual and we did have some difficulties to overcome. However I am happy to say that next year we will be holding the workshop at the Cleveland Instute of Art's BRAND new building. Beautiful new Air Conditioned , larger studio with the very best lighting. With the very inexpensive apartment style campus housing, Cleveland will be the perfect choice forMarvin's midwest workshop! I am already collecting interested students.
Hope the Atlanta workshop is a great success for all attending!

I wish you would videotape these lectures and put them on DVD, for a fee of course. I would be first in line.....

Thanks Marta, It's something I'd really like to do, and also offer a DVD with the demonstrations I do, as well. One day...
