Marcus' Figurative artwork accepted by Greenhouse Gallery Salon 2006!

Dear all,
I'm happy to share with you, that my recent figurative painting titled "Good Wishes For Our Future" has been selected for the Salon International 2006 show organized by the Greenhouse Gallery.
I don't know how many artists around the world submitted their works, but about 300 selected pieces of artworks will be exhibited at the show starting on May 20th.

At this point i'm ecstatic to be accepted by such a prestigious gallery, and even proud to be the first Singaporean oil painter to be accepted by a gallery of such great presence...i really nearly fell off my chair when i got news of acceptance over email this morning!

Thanks Ilaria, Richard and Allan!
It's been a day since the news, but i'm still trying to reel in from the excitement...slap me, somebody! LOL!

Ilaria and Richard, yes i certainly hope this event is a first to start that avalanche of success i've been working hard for all these years. It'll certainly be another thing that my family will be proud of since i started!

But what's most exciting of course, is meeting Tony Pro and Linda Brandon - two artists whose works i've great esteem for - in person!
I mean really, i must say that being with SOG and having friends like you all here, have made me grown and bloomed further in my creations. I have everyone here to thank for my success!
